Rifle Rendezvous continues.
The Glenwood Springs Multiple Sclerosis 5K Walk, 8 a.m. at the No Name Rest Area. The Kiwanis will serve breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
Free fly-fishing clinics, offered every Saturday through June, 10 a.m. at Taylor Creek Fly Shop, 183 Basalt Center Circle in Basalt. More information: 927-4374.
Mayday for Mutts Adoptathon, a day of live music, food and pet adoption, sponsored by CARE, starting at 11 a.m. at 2801 County Road 114 in Glenwood Springs.
Intro to Pole Dancing, an introduction to all the elements of the Stripper Fit program, including floorwork, pole work, the art of the strip tease (students will also learn a short stripper routine for “someone special”). 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Body Barn, 0572 Highway 133 in Carbondale. $40 person (with babysitting available for $5). The Mountain Madness Skate, Rate and Relate Skateboard Competition, open to all levels, noon at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs. Closing day of Rifle Rendezvous.
Bone Day in Dogdale, pooches take over downtown Carbondale, all in the name of KDNK and ARF, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4th and Main St. See B8
Walk-a-thon, to help raise money for an educational fund and medical clinic in Kenya, 10:30 a.m. in Sopris Park in Carbondale. The event ends at the Basalt High School parking lot and is sponsored by Basalt Middle School. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
“Paint Your Wagon,” a benefit showing of the famous musical, 2 p.m. at the Basalt Middle School Theatre.


TUESDAY
Roaring Fork Valley Performing Arts Club meeting, 6-8 p.m. at Glenwood Springs Elementary School, 915 School St. Open to all — just bring your spontaneity.


WEDNESDAY
Great Blue Heron viewing at James H. Smith Northstar Open Space in Aspen, 5:30-7 p.m. Sponsored by Pitkin County Open Space and the Roaring Fork Conservancy. Register online at www.roaringfork.org/events. Free.
