John Marshall and Karissa Dunbar officially opened the Rifle Climbing Center this past weekend, with their grand opening lasting from Friday to Sunday. Food, drink and free physical therapy consults were available, along with balloon animals for kids and half day passes. Young children to adults had fun trying out the bouldering walls and workout equipment. Children were constantly climbing the wall to get to the slide and when they needed a break, there were spaces with toys for them to play while their parents got busy climbing.

Instead of tape, the Rifle Climbing Center has rocks with lights in them to indicate the path to take up. When looking at it on the ground, it can be difficult, but not for this climber on Saturday.
