Garfield County Libraries schedule for Feb. 10-16
The Garfield County Libraries are hosting a variety of events this week, offering something for everyone across multiple branches.
On Monday afternoon at the Rifle Branch Library, Art in the Stacks is featuring Army veteran Tim Heiney and his exhibit “Worlds Within Worlds” and he has prizes for anyone who can find the keys in his art.
On Tuesday after school, the Parachute Branch Library begins Artful Tuesdays, where students can go and paint after they get done with long, grueling school days.
On Wednesday evening in the New Castle Branch, there will be a screening of “ELEMENTAL: Reimagine Wildfire,” an award winning documentary on wildfires.
On Saturday, the Rifle Heritage Museum is presenting on family roots and what life was like for Mary Lee Mohrlang while living with her grandfather, Dr. Clagett, and about orchards in De Beque.
