Etta Louise Holgate Born August 10, 1942 in Brush Colorado to Odie and Florence Cooper, and was a Rebekah Lodge member in Carbondale Colorado and a Near New Store volunteer. She passed away on January 27th at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. Etta married her husband Charles Roger Holgate April 17, 1960 in Carbondale, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles, parents Odie and Florence Cooper, and in-laws; Dorothy and Fred Holgate. She is survived by her daughter, Candace Holgate of Carbondale, brother Ron Cooper and nephew Leland Cooper of Pueblo, as well as her 6 nieces and 1 nephew. The service will be held Monday April 28th at the Carbondale Community United Methodist Church at 12pm and the burial will follow at Evergreen cemetery in Carbondale CO.
