Power restored to Glenwood Meadows, West Glenwood after Wednesday power outage
Power has been restored to Glenwood Meadows and West Glenwood as of 4:55 p.m. after a power outage on Wednesday.
At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Glenwood Springs city crews responded to an electrical outage affecting customers in West Glenwood and the Glenwood Meadows, according to a notice emailed on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspected cause of the outage is due to “an unforeseen hardware issue discovered during electrical pole replacement above the Cardnell substation,” according to a Facebook post from the city of Glenwood Springs.
